For over 36 years, The Summit has been considered one of the top spas in Halifax with many awards won to prove it . We feel the secret to our success has been our consistent and thorough staff training and dedication to on-going education. As a client of The Summit you can expect knowledgeable advice paired with experienced, professional and caring staff in a private, quiet, relaxing environment. We specialize in clinical skin care, laser hair removal, electrolysis, and advanced pedicures.

The Summit opened its doors for business in August of 1990 as The Summit Concepts in Hair and Skin Care on Sackville Street in downtown Halifax. From the beginning, we were innovators of new services to Atlantic Canada bringing the first body scrubs, body wraps and the most extensive Aromatherapy treatments. Since then, we have become one of the  one of the first places in the world to offer Brazilian Bikini Wax and one of the first in Canada to offer Clinical Skin Care.

Over the years we have been honoured to receive nation-wide recognition and many awards for outstanding service. We have received 10 “Best Spa” in Metro awards as well as been recognized as one of the Best Spas in Canada by Flare magazine and featured in numerous issues of Fine Lifestyle Magazine as their Skin Care Experts. We have been voted as one of the top spas in Atlantic Canada by the readers of Progress Magazine and The Coast. Most recently, we have been recognized as Halifax’s Top Choice Laser Clinic every year since 2023.
