Marie Hopkins

Master Clinical Esthetician, Electrologist, Certified Podologist

This Yarmouth, Nova Scotia native graduated with her Esthetics Diploma from the Academy of Cosmetology in 2003 and she has been busy working in Yarmouth, Halifax (at The Summit from 2010-2012) and Calgary as an Esthetician ever since. She is a highly skilled Esthetician that we are thrilled to have on our team - again!

Marie also holds her Master Esthetic License for the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia.

She has spent her career building her skin care and permanent hair removal career - her passion through classes and conferences too numerous to mention!

Her favourite skin care brand is Yonka but she has had extensive training and a love for all of our brands. 

In 2007 she studied Advanced Foot Care with Gehwol expanding her foot care to providing Medi-Pedi services.

In 2010 she graduated with her Electrolysis Certification from Dectro Academy in Montreal. This began her journey and love for permanent hair removal.

In 2011 she travelled to Germany to visit another love - Kneipp  - and to expand her Kneipp knowledge. 

Marie's loves all things Clinical and completed training in Intense Pulse Light Treatments in 2017 and will receive more training in Light Therapy in January 2024 with Sciton's Broad Band Light and Lightwaves LED Light Therapy.
