Dermasound Ultrasonic Facial Program

Includes four 30 minute Dermasound treatments (every two weeks).

A Dermasound Elite Treatment consists of three unique phases that will achieve the following goals:

• break up oil, dirt and dead cells in the pores and kill bacteria - important for the treatment of acne.
• gentle and effective exfoliation important for the treatment of rosacea and sensitive skin healing.
• helps stimulate collagen and elastin production and improve hydration important for a healthy youthful appearance.
• promotes cell repair and reduces inflammation.

Step # 1 Exfoliating 
This peeling phase removes 20-50% of the "stratum corneum" - the outer layer of the skin which we continuously shed. This is done by sound waves that spin water very quickly. These spinning water molecules act as little water jets that loosen and remove dead cells, dirt and oils. This process is very effective on blackheads, acne, rosacea and enlarged pores. All delivered without any irritation or inflammation!
 
Step #2 Infusion
This is one of a Dermasound Treatments best features. Normally, large molecules cannot penetrate the skin to provide the deep medication that skin often needs. Ultrasound makes that penetration possible - the process is called sonophoresis. The ultrasound frequency opens minute pathways to allow customized treatment products to penetrate deeply for better and more long lasting results.
 
Step # 3 Microcurrent
This phase normalizes the skin with a very mild electrical current - a medically proven technique to restore cells' natural charge. When a cell has been damaged due to environmental causes, its electrical current is adversely affected, restricting the flow of nutrients into the cell and waste products out. This phase promotes repair and healing making it exceptional for tired, injured and aging skin.
