3. I am prone to swelling, discomfort or pain in my legs (you may require varicose vein treatments before treating superficial veins).
4. My skin does not heal well after injury to my legs.
5. I am diabetic.
6. I have active cancer or a history of cancer in the area.
7. I would not be able to walk daily for a month after treatments.
8. I am hemophilia or poor blood clotting.
9. I am pregnant or trying to become pregnant.
10. I keloid or develop hypertrophic scarring.
11. I smoke (you must refrain from smoking several days before and a week after treatments to improve healing).
12. I have taken Accutane i the past six months.
13. I have had Gold Therapy.
14. I have had an adverse reaction to laser treatments in the past.
15. I take medication that is photo-sensitizing.
16. I have a history of radiation therapy in the area to be treated.
17. I have a history of skin photosensitivity disorders such as porphyria.
18. I am prone to hypopigmentation.
19. I have a history of epilepsy or light induced seizures.
20. I will be taking systemic steroids (e.g. prednisone, dexamethasone) before or during the course of my treatments.
